This year’s Corn Maze design was formally revealed at our annual media day where the press, those involved in tourism as well as city leaders came out to the farm. Darrell Fox, Terry Fox’s brother, spoke on behalf of the Foundation. He gave a moving account of the Marathon of Hope, Terry’s journey and the progress of cancer research.
He, alongside other supporters, were able to take a helicopter ride to see Terry Fox from the sky. From an aerial view you can see “35 years” in the upper left hand corner and “Terry Fox 1980 – 2015” in the upper right. As you can see, the design captures Terry Fox running across Canada during the Marathon of Hope. It was such a beautiful day!
On Saturday, September 12th the Corn Maze hosted a special day where all proceeds were donated directly to the Foundation. The Corn Maze family is so honoured to pay tribute to our Canadian hero. It was so special to have Terry Fox’s parents as well as his brother, Darrell Fox, attend this event.
