Friends of the Corn Maze

What beautiful weather we’ve had this fall!  These sunny, crisp days are certainly hard to beat.  We are so thankful for fantastic weather so that everyone can enjoy all the activities we have to offer and leave their rain jackets and rubber boots at home!  That being said, we do have lots of activities indoors for you to enjoy in case the weather decides to take a turn; we are open rain or shine!

In past years Halloween has always been our last day of the season, but with Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, we’ve decided to stay open until November 1st and remain open for the entire weekend!

We’ll be open this Saturday, October 31st from 11:00-9:00.  Don’t forget to call ahead if you want to book a fire pit.  Sunday, November 1st will be our annual PUMPKIN SMASH Day!  You’ll be able to throw darts at pumpkins, drop them from high places, or throw them at other pumpkins.  All of our pumpkins will be composted up and plowed into our field; it’s an important part of the pumpkin cycle.  We’ll be open from 11:00-4:00 on Sunday.  Hope to see you there!

It’s wonderful to see so many people visit the Corn Maze year after year.  We love hearing about different family traditions that people have created here.  Whether it’s taking a hay ride and hunting for pumpkins, having a fire and hot dog roast or running through the Corn Maze itself, we are so honoured to share our home and farm with you!

These next guys and their families are extra special to us.  They grew up running around the Corn Maze, scaring the public, having fires late into the night, visiting the animals… I believe they even tried sleeping in the maze at one point!  It brings back all sorts of feelings of nostalgia to see them visit the Corn Maze with their own families now.
